This Permafelt derby was exactly what I was looking for to complete a Charlie Chaplin costume. If you're wondering what Permafelt is as I was, it is a hard molded fabric with the texture of felt. The construction of this hat is very sturdy. Although hard to tell from the product photo, it does have a high profile which is what I was looking for to duplicate Charlie Chaplin's look. The hat is "one size fits most", but it sits rather high on a 22" inch head. So, if you want your bowler to sit low on your head this is not the hat for that unless you have a small head or you are purchasing it for a child. Overall, this is an excellent costume bowler at a great price.

Received this product time; wore for a costume party; good stuff. Would purchase from this company again. ONly complaint is that it's a bit small for an adult.

Ordered this hat for a costume party. The quality of the hat was fine for the price, typical of what you would expect for a one time use costume or dress hat for a kid, however, when the hat arrived it was so crammed into the box that the top of the hat was caved in and the brim was bent.

This is a nice hat. It's not flimsy and the material is fairly nice. I wouldn't buy it if I were looking to wear it every day, but it's definitely great for costumes.
