This is a beautiful hat that ended up cheaper to buy online than at my local costume shop! Many websites currently have it but none of them seem to offer it at the same price, so remember to shop around! The satin bow is very easy to remove if you want to replace it with a different color. The hat is comfortable, pretty, and just plain fun to wear. The use of velcro on the sides makes it very versatile. It's easy to change styles between a pirate shape and a musketeer/sombrero shape. It is shipped flat, so you WILL have to do some squishing if you want the back to bend down like in the picture. Other than that, it looks just like in the pic. The complete product includes 2 different ostrich feathers, one red and one black, to help you accessorize.
I was creating a pirate costume on a budget and I can say that this hat was well worth the money. It made my costume!

This is a beautiful hat for my Pirate's Party and it was delivered promptly. I would give it 5 stars, but the fit is a little small for me. It would be nice to have the inner band made of a stretch material so it would fit all head sizes.

I didn't have any problems with receiving this (I paid extra for shipping just before Halloween). The hat needed a little work, but looked fabulous in the end. It was shipped flat and the feathers were a little skimpy. I replaced the feathers and stitched wire around the inside edge of the hat so I could mold it. It looked great!

I was greatly pleased with this!
It fit perfectly on the head, though beware, you can sometimes not see anything if anyone tips it forward! =P
gorgeous material, and well done: the ostrich feathers can, or not, be used! very cool, so as to not lose them!
just overall lovely. I got compliments all night on it !!
It's pretty much like the picture, so no real surprises. It's pinched on the front for a tip, and has a flat back: different from the typical pirate hats, but nonetheless fun.

I like to recycle customs to different parties where there are different people, and I have wore this hat for a couple years now and have never failed to get a compliment.
The quality of the hat is very nice considering it is a novelty item. And the price on Amazon was fantastic compared to the Halloween stores that pop up in the mall.
