I bought the toy as a compliment to the Padme Amidala costume. My daughter liked it so much that she started using it before Halloween and she still plays with it. She says she is a Star Wars' princess.

My 4 year old daughter got this for christmas last year when she was 3 1/2 years old. Her brother loves guns and star wars. She was always using one of his guns to play. I was excited to find a gun for her to call her own. She knows who Padme is and loved the gun. Brother likes the sound it makes and often takes it from her room. i find it in his room quite often.

This gun is made of cheap plastic but that doesn't really detract from the fun of pretending to "shoot" people. You have to unscrew a screw to get the batteries in and out of the gun which is a little bit annoying. I'd prefer it to just screw on and off. Made for a fun addition to my homemade halloween Padme costume.

I bought this toy as part of a costume. I did some heavy modifications and painting. The toy withstood much drilling. Sound was not very loud.

I ordered two of the blasters and the items received are not the same color as described. Instead of being silver with a black handle, it was all white with the orange stripe. I read about non-Amazon sellers delivering the wrong ones, I didn't think Amazon would too. Since I do not have the time to deal with returning the items for the correct color ones, I will just paint it. I am very upset with Amazon.
