At 13 dollars, this is typical budget fare. Shipping was quick--I ordered on a Sunday and it came in on Friday--but the hat was in poor condition when I recieved it. It had been flattened, possibly due to shipping, and half of the trim was already peeled off. It is made of some rigid material which does not conform well to the shape of the head. In a pinch it will do, but I would recommend spending a few extra pennies and purchasing something of better quality.

After receiving the included beard with the costume, I knew this would not be sufficient. Ordered this one and it came quickly. Blackbeard was a hit at our son's pirate themed birthday party!!!
